Why is this just one question instead of a longer form?
Because the six document groups already partition every situation cleanly by where you are in the employment relationship — hiring, paying, reviewing, changing someone's role, verifying employment, or an exit. A longer branching questionnaire would mostly re-ask what you already know (whether you're the employer or the employee, whether this is routine or a dispute) without narrowing the answer any further than the group itself already does.
What if my situation touches more than one group?
That happens — an exit often needs both an experience letter and a relieving letter, and a promotion sometimes comes with a pay change that also needs an increment letter. Pick whichever situation is the most immediate one; each group page links out to the others, so nothing is a dead end.
Does picking a document here start filling it in?
