What we have shipped

The ATS step now has a button to check your summary and bullets for spelling and grammar mistakes using AI. It only runs when you ask for it, sends only the written parts of your resume, and shows suggestions only — it never changes your ATS score.

AI rewrites could still slip in a method or outcome you never described — for example turning "helped with onboarding" into "helped with onboarding by developing a training module" — without inventing any single number, date, or name Truth Guard was already watching for. It now recognises that pattern too and asks whether you actually did the extra work before letting it through.

Turning off AI assistance for your account is supposed to stop every AI feature from running. One check — the optional spelling and grammar pass — wasn't honouring that setting. It does now, along with everything else.

Sharing a resume link with your email and phone hidden could still leak them if they appeared in your links list rather than the dedicated contact fields — for example from an imported resume. Both are now stripped properly. We checked every existing link created this way and confirmed none were affected.

Versions saved from the builder's Export & Save step used to stop appearing in Career Vault after your first visit there. They show up there now, and the account page explains how a saved resume and its Career Vault version relate to each other.

The approval workflow's signature step now says plainly that no e-signature vendor is connected yet, so nothing signed there is legally binding — instead of asking you to confirm a document is being sent somewhere it isn't.

The privacy policy now says explicitly that your own resume and an employer's HR workspace are never combined, even when the same account holds both.

A step you had already finished — Template, for example — could show a "Complete" badge while still refusing to open if you hadn't reached it in sequence yet. Finished steps are reachable now; steps you haven't gotten to yet still aren't.

Naming a target role now surfaces the skills postings for that career usually ask for, each as a yes/no question — nothing is added to your resume without you confirming it — plus questions to help you write your own achievements, since we don't write them for you.

Choosing "Fresher" was supposed to prioritise Education and Projects over Experience, but the builder still opened on an Experience step you might not have anything to put there. It now walks fresher resumes through Education, Projects, Skills, and Certifications first, with Experience last rather than removed.

What's free and what costs money now appears above the form, with the actual price, instead of only at the bottom after a long HR document is already filled in. The builder does the same for its own free scope on the very first screen.

Applying AI-tailored changes now saves a copy of your original resume first and only then applies the changes — and if that copy can't be saved, nothing is applied, and your resume is left untouched instead of being changed with no way back.

Bullet points can now be rewritten with a specific intent rather than through one generic improve button: Improve, Shorten, Make more specific, Improve action verb, Add measurable impact, Match target role, and Make more natural. Every suggestion appears as a before-and-after you approve, edit, reject, or undo — nothing is applied to your resume automatically.

Some AI rewrites were returning fragments of the model's own reasoning instead of a finished bullet. The cause was that the model's internal reasoning was charged against the same output budget as its answer, leaving almost nothing for the answer itself. Rewrites now come back complete, and a truncated reply is detected and rejected rather than shown to you.

The check that stops AI from inventing employers, dates, numbers, skills, or credentials was applied when rewriting text but not when parsing an uploaded resume. It now runs on the import path too, so an imported resume cannot come back carrying details your original document never contained.

The ATS view shows the name, email, phone, experience, education, skills, and employment dates a parser extracts from your resume, so you can check that the machine read it the way you intended. Every issue reported now states what was detected, why it matters, and what to change.

Templates can be filtered by experience level, use case, industry, layout, and length, and a recommended template now carries a short note on why it was recommended instead of an unexplained badge. No new templates were added — this was about finding the right one among those that already existed.

Resume creation now opens with three clearly labelled paths — upload an existing resume (fastest), build with AI by answering a few questions, or build from scratch for full control — followed by your target role and experience level. Structure and template suggestions come after that, not before. No account is required, and autosave is unchanged.

The 16 original HR tools were migrated onto the same rendering engine as the 16 newer ones, so every HR document now shares identical PDF and Word output, letterhead handling, and formatting. The migration also closed a gap where seven tools omitted the addressee block and one salary certificate shipped without its covering letter.

Employee records, lifecycle tracking, custom templates, bulk generation, and approval workflows are available at no cost. E-signature is the one capability held back for a paid tier, because it carries a real per-signature cost from an external provider.

The resume builder, the JD matcher, and the ATS simulator each ran their own job-matching logic, so the same resume and job description could produce different scores depending on which screen you were looking at. They now share a single engine and report the same result everywhere.

Three steps that asked for information already collected elsewhere were merged into their neighbours.

Resume and HR document Word downloads were previously HTML files renamed to .doc, which some versions of Word and Google Docs open badly. They are now genuine OOXML .docx files. Plain-text export was removed rather than kept as a third option it could never match — plain text cannot carry a logo, a signature, or any styling.

Templates are loaded on demand instead of all at once, so the builder preview and the template gallery open faster.

Inline scripts and styles are no longer broadly permitted; the app uses per-request nonces and exact hashes instead. This narrows the ways a script injected into a page could run.

A rebuilt ATS analysis with six explainable category scores replaced four checkers that disagreed with each other. Alongside it: a job-description matcher, AI tailoring that proposes changes for your review, and MB Truth Guard, the rule that AI must never silently invent facts about you.

Employee records, employment lifecycle, custom templates with merge fields, bulk generation from CSV or Excel, an approval workflow, and public document verification, plus 16 additional document generators.

An MCP server with its own OAuth authorization lets a connected assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, generate HR documents against your workspace with your explicit permission.

Real account deletion, HR workspace deletion, and data download; an AI opt-out; analytics loaded only after consent; and colour-contrast corrections found in an accessibility audit.

Every HR document can be filled in and previewed with your real logo and signature before any payment. The charge applies at download, and the preview watermark is explained on screen rather than left unexplained.

Generators previously filled an empty signatory field with a plausible-looking placeholder name. They now leave it blank and ask. A salary certificate bug where annexure totals did not sum their own line items was fixed at the same time.

Sample resume data used to populate the preview could, in some cases, appear in a downloaded file. It no longer can.

Revised ATS scoring and job-description handling, plus fixes to template previews.
